Ancient Original Updated. I like the crazy lead.The UPS man is outside in this video.He apparently heard me playing and didn't call out "UPS" or knock on the door or anything. That was considerate.But i heard him while I was playing and was debating on whether to stop or not. My mistakes, blame the UPS guy. Yeah, that's it. :)
BTW, I make the ugliest faces when I play guitar. I realise it.Eeeek. I watch myself and I hate the faces I make, and I try to remind myself to play with a smile, but then I do it anyway. Make these ugly frowny faces. I'm actually happy when I'm playing guitar.

Ancient original, one of the first guitar songs I ever came up with. Very basic, rock song.
But the lead, that's new. I'm having fun with it. :) Needs improvement, of course. I can see that in different ways but I want to try and concentrate on the good for once. I beat myself up when I make mistakes, actually. The warning is in the title of the blog. Mistakes made here, not perfect.
I'm under the weather right now, anyway. Have been for the past couple of days.

backwards, which is why it's the way it is. Usually I'd have vocals by now, the solo would be later. Remember, this riff is only 2 days old. And the lead ideas are just happening right now at this moment. LTV - You hear it first.:)

New Blog...

Basically I'm putting my clips here from now on. I left the previous 3 posts because they were an interesting depiction of where I was mentally at that time.
People now have a choice to look and listen to this crap, or read regular spew.
The truth is I like making the clips for myself. I like charting my progress. But also I like the evolutions of ideas that happen. Like my newer, punchier version of "Why do people lie?"
I have more lyrics but I haven't recorded them yet. But I now can record longer songs.
So you've been warned about that, too. But at the same time, a lot of songs can be too long, IMO. Just because it's a long song doesn't mean it's good. A person needs to learn to know when to quit a song, and I know that, too. way. Especially if there's not much going on with the song the first place. I made a 5 minute song that went nowhere today.But I'm not the only one that has done that!;)
Also the sound is better on my videos before I upload them to dropshots. After I post them the sound quality isn't good. Hmm...
